A Message from Our Pastor
Greetings in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ!
As the eighth pastor of Macedonia, I am humbled to continue the legacy of the great pastors who gave themselves to God's service in this part of the vineyard.
My wife, Poiette, and I feel incredibly blessed to serve the Macedonia Family at this point in its rich history. While we are fairly new to the Macedonia Church family, we are not new to the will of God. We exhaust every effort to serve God to the fullest each day, because we are thrilled about the possibilities for radical change in the body of Christ; change for those who are down trodden to be lifted; for those who are lost to be found; for the spiritually depressed to be encouraged and renewed.
Macedonia is a traditional church with very un-traditional love. We are not the stuffy Baptist Church that talks about the move of God, but never experiences it. We love the Lord and we love each other. If we continue to love the Lord Jesus Christ and each other, there will always be an atmosphere of hope and anticipation in our church; hope for a better tomorrow and anticipation of God's provision for our every need.
There is always room for one more soul at God's table and we are saving a seat for you. You are special to God and special to Macedonia. Our church is assertively rising to meet the challenges of this present age: reclaiming our youth, re-energizing our young adults and seasoned saints, refocusing our church leaders, saving our marriages, uniting our families, and making the Gospel of Jesus Christ relevant to the unconcerned and distracted. All of these are arduous tasks which require diligent effort and hard work. But isn't the kingdom of God worth it? We at Macedonia believe so.
If you agree, then it is quite possible that Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church is where you need to be.
